Named after the towering tropical Ceiba tree, Kapok, Dart’s latest ten-storey building, was imagined for those who want to eat, work, play and stay in Camana Bay’s Town Centre. RESIDENCES

Kapok’s 89 apartments range from 561-square-foot studios to 1,476-square-foot three-bedroom residences, some with a flexible-use den space, and are available for long-term rental only.

Designed to make optimal use of space, and thoughtfully planned to function well for singles, couples, and friends sharing, all feature tall windows and private balconies or terraces,  open concept kitchen, living and dining areas, built-in wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms. In addition, apartments are tastefully furnished and decorated by interior designer, Dana Nauta.

DESIGN

Sophisticated in design, Kapok’s public spaces are decorated in warm pastel shades to create a young, playful aesthetic, with design details inspired by the blossom, thorns, and canopy
of the eponymous tree.

The apartments, on the other hand, have been kept light and neutral to allow residents to infuse them with their own style. Much care has been taken to incorporate creative storage
and flexible furniture, ensuring the residences are both practical and inviting places to live.

The fully equipped kitchens are fresh and clean, with sleek cabinetry to keep surfaces from becoming cluttered and open shelves that provide opportunities to add personal accents. Living spaces include modular sofas that can be arranged in multiple ways, box bench seats, and closed TV consoles to increase storage options, pale wood look floors to maintain a bright and airy ambience, and double glass doors that lead out to terraces.

All bedrooms feature king-size beds with storage space beneath, upholstered headboards, sheer linen drapes, and blackout blinds. Large vanities and medicine cabinets in the bathrooms ensure plenty of space to put toiletries and towels away.

The second floor of Kapok features a pool and landscaped terrace furnished with loungers and tables alongside an indoor recreation area and a covered outdoor kitchen.
