Periwinkle, Cayman Islands
A new residential housing development at Grand Harbour, Periwinkle recreates the sense of community of yesteryear in an elegant, sustainable and amenity-driven setting.

Much more than a collection of homes, Periwinkle is a community with a true sense of place. A place where neighbours are friends, where children play together outdoors, and shared values are celebrated.
Periwinkle is where healthy, active adults and children thrive. Residents walk their dogs through lush, landscaped grounds, kids ride their bikes along pedestrian paths and fitness enthusiasts clock up miles on the community running track or swim laps in the 60-foot pool. The day’s work done, neighbours may gather at the clubhouse to enjoy a drink or barbecue together – one eye on the youngsters laughing on the lawn – and discuss plans for the weekend.
Situated on the canal-front at Grand Harbour, the boating lifestyle beckons: with space for 62 boats along 1,300 feet of water frontage, you can be slicing through the turquoise waters of North Sound within minutes of leaving the dock, or borrow one of the shared kayaks or stand up paddleboards, and take a slow sunset cruise around the waterways.
With farm fresh produce delivered weekly to your door, and Hurley’s supermarket a short walk away, eating well is a breeze, and a gym at Grand Harbour mean workouts and group classes are a stone’s throw away.
In addition to superb recreational facilities, the secure, gated community also stands out for its all-round sustainability. Conceived by Periwinkle Development Company and built by Arch & Godfrey, it aims to be the first LEED-certified project of its kind in the Cayman Islands: each home is equipped with roof-top solar panels, high efficiency air-conditioning systems, low-flow plumbing and excellent insulation – all of which will result in utility bills for residents estimated at CI$150 per month – whilst street and dock lights are solar powered and landscaping uses local, drought tolerant species ensuring low strata fees.
The 82 elegant, modern Caribbean homes are a mix of Cayman-style cottages, courtyard townhouses and large waterfront residences, with between two and five bedrooms arranged across 2,200 to 3,900 square feet. Clustered in ‘neighbourhoods’ and surrounded by ample green spaces and walking paths, each home offers flexibility in floor plans and finishes to ensure owners can inject their particular personality and style into the home.
Every aspect of the residences and shared amenities at Periwinkle has been developed with the quality of life of owners and environmental sensitivity in mind. Far beyond a real estate investment, home ownership at Periwinkle is a lifestyle choice: it’s choosing a life that is active, engaged, sociable and sustainable. It’s choosing to live well.
