Bluebeard's Castle Resort Soon to be Home to Largest Solar Panel System in USVI.

Bluebeard's Castle Resort, managed by SPM Resorts, Inc. worked with Solar Systems VI to install solar panels throughout the property to become more sustainable and energy efficient. Recently completed, the solar panels will generate around 2100Kw of solar power a day, approximately 40% of the resort's electricity, and will be the largest solar panel system in the USVI.
Paul Goodrich, Regional Vice President of SPM Resorts, Inc. stated, "In the past few years, the price of solar panels have reduced drastically making it feasible to do this project. We are excited to be one of the few timeshare resorts in the industry that uses solar power to generate electricity."
