Azure Realty Ltd. – Cayman Islands
Azure Realty is a real estate firm with a difference: it’s a boutique firm focused on offering quality listings, exceptional service and true southern hospitality.

Over the past 12 years, Jan Tomkins and her team have earned a rock-solid reputation for their professionalism, warmth and concierge-style service. Clients of Azure Realty are welcomed like family and looked after like old friends, many becoming repeat clients and referring friends and colleagues.
After 11 years operating out of offices in Galleria Plaza, Azure Realty moved to new offices at the end of 2019. The team is now proud to welcome clients at their sleek new premises at Caribbean Plaza.
The location on West Bay Road is accessible to all and the modern, open-plan office reflects the company’s welcoming nature and dedication to quality.
Founding partner Jan Tomkins’ first career was as a gemmologist, working for the likes of Tiffany & Co and Cartier. Her experience in the world of high-end luxury goods gave her invaluable insight into what those clients expected – something she was able to translate into the real estate industry when she opened Azure Realty in 2008.
“The vision was to create a real estate brand that served those clients, and that offered superlative customer service,” she explains.
“I’m also from Texas (the southern USA) and so I aim to provide that warm welcome and genuine hospitality. We are there every step of the way through the sale or purchase process with our clients so they are never in any doubt as to what needs to be done and when.”
The five-star service continues after a sale is completed: Azure Realty is available to help clients settle into their new homes and lives in Cayman, providing contacts and guidance for setting up bank accounts, registering with doctors, finding schools for their kids and providing all manner of advice and contacts.
Many of Azure Realty’s clients are based overseas so the team has developed ways to work around the limitations of distance. If a suitable property comes on the market and the client is not available to view it in person, Azure Realty will do a video walk-through with clients on the phone, so they don’t miss out. Equally, if commitments prevent clients from being present to finalise a deal, Azure Realty will take care of it all and simply courier the paperwork.
In order to continue to offer outstanding service, Azure Realty has intentionally remained a small, boutique operation with a team of just five. Jan Tomkins, the driving force and spirit behind Azure Realty’s brand, founded the business in 2008 and steered it single-handedly through a global recession.
Over the years she has been joined by four other professionals – Tracey Kline, Roy Powell, Dominic Tomkins and James Sedgley – who all share her commitment to excellence and bring their own expertise to the mix.
