Martinique

Martinique uses the Euro as its currency and speaks French Creole Patois. Situated at 14 40N, 61 00 W, the 1,100 sq km island enjoys a 17.3 ° C average temperature with cooling trade winds. The mountainous island has its highest point at Montagne Pelee (1,397m). The main industries are agriculture and tourism and the country uses the Euro as its currency.
