Barbados is the eastern most Caribbean island. Its main industries are light industry, tourism, offshore finance and sugar cane. Its population is 279,912 and the capital is Bridgetown. Constant trade winds make the climate perfect, and sugarcane fields litter the landscape. The Barbadian dollar is the currency here. The highest point is Mount Hillaby at 336 m
