John Doak Architecture Celebrates 30 Years Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
Arriving in 1979 fresh from Glasgow's Mackintosh School of Architecture John Doak made a strong impression on Cayman's budding architectural scene.
His passion for Caribbean vernacular architecture combined with his understanding of environmental contexts and forces that shape local architecture have informed his own style, winning him international accolades in the process. John Doak Architecture was established in 2001 and continues to be a major player in the Caribbean.
Doak will be publishing a book to commemorate his 30 years of Caribbean practice in late 2010.
